Creating a Wrk It account takes just a few minutes. You can sign up with an email address and password, or use your Google account to get started even faster. Once you confirm your email, you’ll be guided through a short onboarding flow to set your display name, pick an avatar, and choose your first habit packs.

Open the sign-up screen

Navigate to the Wrk It app in your browser. You’ll land on the auth screen, which opens in Log In mode by default. Click Sign Up at the bottom of the form to switch to sign-up mode.
You can also open the sign-up screen directly by appending ?mode=signup to the auth URL.

Choose your sign-up method

You have two options:
  • Continue with Google — click the Google button at the top of the form. You’ll be redirected to Google’s account selector and returned to the app after authorizing.
  • Email and password — enter your email address and a password in the fields below the divider, then click Sign Up.
The email field trims whitespace and normalizes your address automatically, so You@Example.com and you@example.com are treated as the same account.

Confirm your email address

After submitting the sign-up form, Wrk It sends a confirmation email to the address you provided. Open the email and click the link inside to verify your account.
The confirmation link redirects you back to the Wrk It app. You must click it before you can log in with email and password. Check your spam folder if the email doesn’t appear within a few minutes.

Log in and complete onboarding

Once your email is confirmed, return to the auth screen and log in with your credentials. Wrk It will immediately start the onboarding flow where you’ll set your display name, choose an avatar, and pick your first habit packs.

Switch between log in and sign up

The auth screen has a single toggle between Log In and Sign Up modes. If you already have an account, click Log In at the bottom of the sign-up form. If you’re new, click Sign Up at the bottom of the log-in form. Both modes share the same email and password fields, so you won’t need to re-enter your details when switching.

Reset a forgotten password

If you signed up with email and password and can’t remember your password, you can request a reset link from the log-in screen.

Click Forgot password

On the log-in screen, click Forgot password? below the password field. The form switches to the password reset view.

Enter your email and request a link

Type your email address into the field and click Send Reset Link. Wrk It sends a reset link to that address.

Set a new password

Open the email and click the reset link. You’ll be taken to the reset password screen where you can enter and confirm a new password. The new password must be at least 6 characters. Click Update Password to save it.After the update succeeds, you’re automatically redirected to your dashboard.
The password reset link is only valid for a short window. If the link has expired, go back to the log-in screen and request a new one.

PWA and HTTPS requirement

Wrk It is a Progressive Web App. Features like push notifications and installing the app to your home screen require the app to be served over HTTPS. If you’re accessing the app over plain HTTP, these features will be unavailable. In production, the app is always served over HTTPS.
